The COB 300 project at JMU is a great opportunity for me to put what I’ve learned in marketing into practice. In this class, we work on real marketing challenges, using digital tools and strategies to create effective campaigns. It’s a hands-on experience that helps me build practical skills, collaborate with classmates, and get a better feel for how marketing works in the real world.

IMC Project

For my IMC project, our group worked with White Oak Lavender Farms in Virginia to develop a comprehensive marketing plan that highlights their unique products and beautiful farm experience. The goal was to create strategies that boost their brand awareness and attract more visitors and customers. Through this project, I applied digital marketing techniques and integrated communication strategies to help the farm grow its presence and connect with its audience in meaningful ways.

Social Media Marketing Project

For my social media marketing class project, the group I was in focused on Aristocat Cafe in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Our goal was to create a tailored social media strategy that would help increase their online presence and engage more customers. We worked on developing content ideas, scheduling posts, and analyzing audience engagement to build a stronger connection between the cafe and its community. This project gave me hands-on experience in managing social media platforms and understanding how to use them effectively for a local business.
